Suggested Echogenic Bowel

ki • Tue, Jan 17 • England🇬🇧 2️⃣8️⃣ Years old, mum to a 9 year old little girl 👧🏼 ,and just had a baby boy 👶🏼

Went for my scan yesterday (20 weeks) and was told that my baby had a suggested echogenic bowel. - the bowel seems to appear brighter than what it should be on the scan.

I'm going back next week too see a specialist and have another scan.

Any one had any experience in this??? I'm trying not to worry and I don't want to start googling it to much as it suggests cystic fibrosis and Down syndrome. The midwife said it come be something of nothing as he'd not lay in the best position either !
