Weaning from BF! Am I crazy!?!

Hi mommas! I am thinking of starting the process of weaning my son. He is 7+ months now and already drinking a couple bottles of formula a day (we EBF until 6.5 months).

Do you guys have any tips, suggestions, advice, etc. about how to wean? How to start? What to do when he wants the boob (comfort nursing)? Etc.

We want to try for baby #2 in a few months and I selfishly want my body as my own for a little. Plus I still have 15 pounds I gotta lose to get to prepregnancy weight (I thought BF helped with that🙄). Feeling overwhelmed with stopping, but overwhelmed if I continue. Am I crazy!?! 😔

I weaned my daughter at 4 months old and she loves food, she's now at 7 months on lumpy food and again loves it and now she barely drinks formula milk, but I try to make sure she has it on a morning and night.

Try some food, your baby will let you know if they are ready
