Hi all- i had a miscarriage on 12/13- at 17 weeks, i delivered naturally and was cleared to start trying again - It's been 5 weeks so I'm wondering if this positive could be leftover hormones or if I could in fact be pregnant again? Any thoughts ?

I'm in the same boat.   Miscarried on 11.18 at 9 weeks.  Ept yesterday showed a vvvfl. And today it's almost for sure a negative test.   Wishing you luck and sending love.

Hi sweetie, sorry for your loss! I had to deliver my baby naturally at 12 weeks and I went for a check up one week and then two weeks later and finally was cleared with no hcg in my system. I would strongly recommend getting blood work just to be sure. Good luck!

I also had a miscarriage 12/3. I'm so sorry for your loss. I was getting faint positives up until a few days ago. Started my first period yesterday. That looks like a pretty strong positive to be left over.

Thanks all, I'm assuming it's left over but am going retest later this week and make an appointment to have blood levels checked !

Id dont think you would be cleared if you still had detectable HCG levels.  Congrats !! 🌻

I've heard that after 10 or so weeks, HCG starts to decrease in your system, so it very well may be a different pregnancy. Sorry for your loss and good luck.

Did you go back for blood tests to see if your numbers went back to 0 ? Only way to know is keep testing see if it gets darker

I think the only way you'll know is if you go in and have quantitative HCG blood draws to see if your levels are going up. I miscarried on 11/11/16 due to a blighted ovum at 10.5 weeks (empty gestational sac was only measuring 6w5d when I was 8w5d) and I still had a faint positive test about 4 weeks later.
