Depo Provera shot!

I was a virgian when I got married and I wanted to be on a birth control that I didn't have to worry about taking every day. So my Doctor said the depo shot I was just went along with it and didn't do any research! It last for 3 months little did I know that it can take up to a year to get out of your system! I only had one shot and 4 months later no period and I was ready to have a baby! So they gave me Provera to induce a period thank God it did an I ovulated now it is just a waiting game to see if I'm Preagnt! Has anyone els taken the shot?!?
