so im 22 years old.... looking for a job is hard😩seeems like no one wants you or cares.... I applied to every single place in my town and still no call.... I need at least a part time in my life.... im going to college online so i need something to make money.. im going to be moving in with my boyfriend soon so i need to get a job before i do so... But its so hard.. how do i like get out their and put myself out their more??? 😩do i have to call them? or bug them in person ?? how did you get a job fast? please help...........

Here are some tips:

• Try to avoid applying online. If you do, you'll get grouped in with dozens of others (or even more) and chances are that you'll be dismissed or never really viewed in the first place. Instead, go inside in professional clothing (specialize it to the position that you're applying for) and ask for an application for the position you're interested in. Always be polite and professional. Then hand it back to a hiring manager if possible.

• Once you've handed in your application, call around 3 days later. Don't call on the weekend. So if you hand it in on a Thursday or Friday, wait until Monday to call. I've noticed that the hiring manager either isn't in on the weekends, or they're so busy that they can't talk to you. If anything, you'll annoy them by calling while they're busy.

• Make sure that you mention that you would be glad to participate in an interview with the hiring manager and that you are genuinely interested in the position. Don't be eager, but affirmative in your interest.

Usually when I do an application I call 2 days after applying . Except I don't call on weekends & I just keep calling & bugging them , it shows them that you're really serious about the job & that you really want it. A lot of places won't really call you they want you to call them.

When you bring in application in- alwayssssss ask to see the manager so you can give it to them personally and make a good impression on them. They'll be more likely to consider hiring you if they know what kind of vibe you give off.
