When to visit GP?

Just found out I am 4 weeks +1 day. When is a sensible time to tell my GP?

Generally six weeks unless you suspect something maybe wrong

I rung my GP the day after I found out and told the receptionist and she booked me in with the appropriate doc. Glad I went cause they sort out your medical exception card and refer you to the nearest midwife and hospital x

Most maternity units in U.K. Are self referral now done online but not till your 6 weeks - this is what my GP said with my first pregnancy last year x

I was thinking the same. I've gone and booked an appointment with my gp next week and I will be 5 weeks 2 days x

Hello ladies I call my GP surgery today and they told me they normally see around 8 weeks and booked me in just after I complete 7 weeks. Hope that helps. Good luck to all and have happy and healthy nine months. :)))

I actually didn't go to my gp I called an OB and set up an appointment. My insurance doesn't require a referral for OBGYN.
