braxton hicks or early labour??

Question

I've been getting contractions for the past hour every 5-7 minuets lasting roughly 60 seconds. I've never experienced braxton hicks this regular is this normal braxton hicks or could it be early labour my midwife said 2 an hour is normal a few hours a day.

I'm 36w4d and I just started getting BH last Wednesday! The first time I got them I got 7 the first hour and they were coming every 5-6 minutes! I went home and laid down and they stopped completely and I havnt had them like that again. Only a few a day since then! But keep timing then and I think my Dr sais if there like that for 2 hours go in to L&d or 5 in an hour!

The nurse at my birthing class suggested laying down. If they go away they're BH. Also drink some water. Always better to be safe than sorry though

Try to take a nap and see if they go away! I had this all day yesterday went in to LD to be sent home 3 hours later because I didn't progress any
