AF way late before BFP??? Please share your experiences!!

AF is 9 days late, and I haven't tested since Sunday. It was a BFN. I'm waiting until Friday to test again. Has anybody had to wait a while before BFP? I'm really hoping this is my month but I'm so confused.

I did but it was because I ovulated late, so when I thought my period was due on X day it turned out not to be due till X day so when I thought I was 6 days late and getting bfn I was actually right on time for my period waited two more days and got my bfp now I'm 13 weeks pregnant

Girl its day 41 for me and i normally have 27-33 day cycles....
I tested on day 34 & 37 both negatives.... i feel your frustration.
