Ultrasound tech here. If you're around 5wks, it's waaay to early to see anything. Either way, that image is terrible. It's so grainy/pixelated that I can barely make out your uterus. Wait to get an ultrasound done on a better machine with a certified diagnostic medical sonographer. At the early stages your HCG level(taken from blood serum) is most telling as to if it could be twins.

5 weeks is super early for an ultrasound. Even two weeks longer would have been more decisive.

If it were twins you'd either see 2 distinct sacs  (black areas) or two bumps in one sac. From what I can tell, it's probably just one. I'm sure even if it's a private place, they would've said it was twins if there were two. But congrats!!!!

How many weeks are you? The ultrasound is so blurry I can't really even tell what in looking at but they'd have told you if there were two babes!
