natural birth after c-section??

Question

Has anyone had a natural birth after having a c-section? I had to have a c-section with my son because he wouldn't fit and I am wondering if anyone has had this happen and then been able to try for a natural birth with their second, any input would help, thanks!

with my first I had natural then with my second i had a csection and then my third I had a csection I'm going on my fourth child and my midwife said that i have the option to try and do natural and if it dont work out then I will have to have a csection

My first was a c-section under general anesthesia, after a long labor that wouldn't progress due to my anatomy.  For some reason, I remember the nurse telling me I was allergic to labor and all my births needed to be c-sections from then on, because they almost lost me on the table. Of course, that was 8 years ago, out of general anesthesia. 
I've requested my hospital records, because I would very much like to do a VBAC with this child. But I don't want to risk going through labor before another c-section, if it's going on be dangerous. 
I've also always wondered if the first baby wouldn't fit due to anatomy, what are the odds the second won't as well.
