Breastfeed v bottle feeding - pros & cons?

Why do some women choose to breastfeed exclusively and what are benefits of both breastfeed and pumping? Just doing some research!

I'm going to be exclusively breastfeeding and will pump a little if I plan on leaving the baby(s) (I was on Clomid so we'll be finding out how many are in there next month 😂) with my husband for a little while. Everyone I've talked to thought breastfeeding was simple and easier because you don't have to make/wash bottles (especially at night), just pop a boob in baby's mouth. Thankfully my mom breastfed all 5 of her kids and my oldest sister is breastfeeding her 3rd now, plus I have all of my hippie friends so I'll have plenty of help and support. It's not even that I'm going to *try* like some say, I am going to breastfeed, plain and simple. I don't care how hard it is, it's important to me and my body was made to do it.

I am exclusively bottle feeding breast milk. My reasoning is that I will be going to classes very soon after he's born and sometimes it's hard to get babies to switch from breast to bottle and I don't want my sister to have any issues when watching him. So I'm going to be pumping a LOT.

I've done both i breast fed my son I've pumped and bottle fed plus I used formula. We had zero issues going from breast to bottle and back. I just didn't have a great supply so he was give formula as well and he's very healthy 6 month old. I feel it's great bonding regardless if you're bottle feeding or breastfeeding at the end of the day it's still a moment you have with your baby.

I just did from the breast! Because it was too hard to get my son to go onto a bottle. And alot of times what happens is that they prefer the bottle over you and they wont go back and then that might be a problem. Just because of  the reason if you don't have a milk ready for him/her then it can be stressful situation. And I liked to breastfeed directly because it made me feel really close to my son.

I've been breastfeeding my son for 16 months straight from the breast I've made enough milk so why not go until 18months-2 years! I hate pumping though I never seem to pump enough. I'm very thankful to not have to work and be able to breastfeed my son for so long

With bottle feeding do you mean formula or pumped breast milk? Breastfeeding is better for both the mother and baby. Helps with their immune system and I've heard it reduces the risk of breast cancer in women. It's also a great bonding moment for both mother and child.
