Am i too sensitive

Okay ive always been sensitive but my S.O. and I are long distance, and recently he's been distant and i know he's been sad so ive done everything i can to make him feel atleast  some what happier. But for some reason now he's been distant and the first few times ive been understanding and now its like for a few days he'll be there and its normal and then he just kind of disappear and wont text or call or anything and the first few times he's saod he's busy and i understand because we both have busy schedules. It hurts a bit that he kind of pushes it aside when i ask him about it and now its just like he doesn't trust me. I know he's been insecure about himself and its just so complicated but i love him and i just dont want to seem like the long distance girlfriend who is too clingy and annoying. (Sorry for the length)
