So I was scheduled to be at the hospital at 830 this morning to get prepped for my csection at 1030. Hubby and I get here and are told, "we tried to call you before you drove in, we've had two emergencies and are going to have to push you back. Go home and relax a while so you aren't stuck sitting around here, call in at 11 and we'll let you know if you can come back in." Ok, home we go, grab my mom who just got in at 3am and our boys and head downtown to show her around a bit. Call back in at 11 and they say they still aren't sure when It will be, call back at 1. By this time I'm starving. I'm not allowed to eat or drink anything, not even water or chew gum. Last I ate was 10:30 last night and I'm starting to feel a little sick and lightheaded. Told the hubby if I call back at 1 and they still can't get me in I was going to ask to be rescheduled so I could eat and not get sick. We were in no way mad or upset, if we were the ones with the emergency we would be wanting the same treatment they are giving those who are in the situation. Ended up getting a call from them at 11:30 saying be here in an hour! YAY, baby time! Got in, got prepped and by 2 we were heading back to OR! This big guy came into the world letting us all know he's got one hell of a set of lungs on him. He was screaming before they even pulled him out lol. Everyone, meet Nash Austin. Weighed in at 9lbs 1oz 21 3/4 inches on 1-18-17 at 2:44pm. He is beautiful and perfect in every way and big brothers are very proud!
