40 weeks n 1 day just had my belly check but dr sent me to get a non stress test done due to the my blood pressure being so high n the baby's heart rate being so high, talked to someone n they said this has happened to them n they had to induce, anyone else have this ?

A NST is normal for you gestational age just to make sure baby is still doing well. If your blood pressure is just a little higher than normal & baby is happy they'll send you home. If it's outrageous they'll most likely not be sending you home and you'll eventually leave with a baby in your hands. This is pretty common don't stress because it only elevates your blood pressure and can make the induction if you do get one seem worse than it is. Try as best as you can to just relax and go with what they think best. An induction is much safer than prolonged pre-eclampsia ;)
