are pregnancy belly button rings worth it?

I'm trying to decide if I should take my belly ring out or get a pregnancy belly ring. I'm just curious what others opinions are!?

Just buy one ! I would say it's worth it I'm not going through the trouble of repiercing it . It's so much more comfortable to use the pregnancy ones too . 🤰🏻

I loved mine I had to take it out around 36 weeks but it went right back in after birth! I got the silicone ones! I still wear mine just cut it down in size! eBay 10$ for 3!

If you want to keep your piercing definitely get a silicone ring. With my first I just decided to take it out because I knew they would make me during delivery. I hadn't worried about it closing because I'd had it several years before having my daughter. I never put it back in though although I can still get a ring through if I tried. My nipple piercings and a piercing I have by my ear is my new concern because by the time baby comes I'll have had the nipples for a year but the face would be almost a year.

I love mine! I had to put my maternity one in about a week ago (at 24 weeks) my regular one was too curved and the skin was pulling and really itchy. As soon as i put this one in it felt so much better.

If you want to keep the piercing then yes, it'll keep the skin from tearing or being damaged from all of the stretching that'll be going on (my husband is a tattoo artist/former piercer). The scar from my old piercing got a stretch mark on it and now my belly looks like a missing piece to a treasure map 😳

I had to take my belly button ring out at like 24w cuz the skin was getting too tight.. I don't think I would've been able to put in a pregnancy ring. I poked my ring through it every week or so to make sure the hole didn't close and was able to put it back in when I got home from the hospital :) I had mine for 3yrs at the time, so I wasn't too worried about it.. The pregnancy rings are cute, but if you've had your piercing for over a year I wouldn't say it's necessary.

I didn't bother with it. I just took my ring out and will re-pierce it depending on how my stomach looks after I have my baby. I'm 36 weeks.
