myfitnesspal (free version) tracking
Does anyone else use this app and have found it helpful for weight loss? I've used it in the past but wasn't dedicated enough.
I'm on my third day with it now, and I've had a gym membership that I'm really starting to utilize more than before.
Some recent possible health issues because of my weight really hit me in the gut the other day and I really need to get to a safe space.
I go to school 5 days a week and pass the gym on my way home so I'm going to go to the gym for an hour for every five days and rest on weekends.
I've also cut out pop, and have started with only water and tea, especially green tea.
I am 5'1" and 223 lbs. My eventual goal weight is 125. My realistic (for now) goal weight is around 150.
I do cardio intensive workouts keeping my hr between 145-166 which is recommended for weight loss based on my age and gender.
What's the realistic time frame here? I'm getting married in July and really want to see some kind of difference. Is anyone else going through this too? Any more advice?
