Which would you recommend and why?

Cloth all the way. And not just because they're cute. I'm not going to use something on my baby's skin stats full of chemicals.

I chose cloth. Although I have yet to carry a child to term to know which., I will try both. I have an aunt and a friend that used cloth and they loved them. They are more work but neither of their babies had diaper rash and it was cheaper in the long run.

With my first child I wanted to do everything the way my mother and grandmother did it (raised in the south) so I got cloth diapers and signed up with Tidy Didy Diaper service. Didn't last a month. What a pain in the AZZ cloth diapers are.
