Annoyed as hell with my doc office. I havent seen a doc since the 11th and they aren't seeing me until Thursday which is the 26th. So no checks or anything and I had an ultra sound after my last appointment which I would like to discuss. They told me If I want an Nst before the scheduled one then I need to just go to the hospital to get it. Wth!? I'm 38 weeks shouldn't they be keeping a closer eye on me?

Yes you're supposed to been every week once you hit 36 weeks. My doctor is the same just asswholes. I'll.be 37 weeks Saturday nd my doctor switched me over to a new doctor I said I didn't even want to go to .so I walked into labor nd delivery last week to check on my baby . (I didn't want to) but I needed to know was my baby ok . the midwife at the hospital said I should report them

With my first in Texas i was high risk due to GD and preclampsyia and only saw the doctor every other week not every week after 36 weeks. Now with my second in Germany I have GD but not preclampsyia this time still considered high risk and they don't due weekly or biweekly appointments. I'm 37 weeks and my last appointment was 35 weeks, my next appointment isn't until 39 weeks.

Weekly visits after 36 weeks aren't ACOG protocol unless you are over age 37 or in certain other high risk classes. I didn't have weekly appointments with my first, nor did I ever have an NST.
