Rib pain from big baby?

Question

I was wondering about those experiencing rib pain, how much your babies came out weighing. I'm 39w and haven't experienced any pain and wondering if its because my baby is weighing small since I'm petite. My ob never did an estimated weight and i haven't bothered to ask since it looks like many of those estimates are very off anyway. Opinions are appreciated!

I'm 35 weeks and have this all the time. My doctor keeps telling me the baby is measuring perfectly so she's at an average weight. I'm wondering if she's just really long or if it has something to do with the fact that I'm really small. I don't think it's caused by them weighing more. Maybe big feet? Lol

With my first I had no rib pain and my son weighed 6lbs 4oz when I delievered him at 39+1. I'm now currently 30+3 with my second and the rib pain is soo real. I keep telling my husband I think this one is gonna be bigger because I am soo much more uncomfortable when I've only gained less than half of what I gained with my first. So I'm anxious to see how big he'll be at delivery

My baby was 8 lbs 12 oz, and he was 21 and a half inches long. 75th percentile or something like that but he has HUGE feet - he's now surpassed the 100th percentile for height but is in the 75th for weight. I'm only 5'3", and his daddy is really tall. He definitely takes after his dad with height! This kid is 5 months and fits comfortably into 6-9 month pants! 😅
He always ALWAYS kicked me in the same spot on my ribs - and I could even outline his feet and part of his legs through my belly just by feeling around towards the end. He loved kicking in there. He still loves kicking!
