Is it normal?

So my baby weighed at 6lbs 12oz 19inchs when he was born and now hes two months and weighs 12lbs 23inchs . And when ppl see my son they say he's so big for his age or he doesn't look two months 😶😑😔 and that makes me upset it's like they are saying my kid is fat. He only has chubby cheeks .

I Love when people say my baby is a big girl because I reply that I just have super good milk!! Lol my girl is weighing at roughly 16lbs and she's a little over 2 months. Dr said she's just going to be a big girl too not concerned at all. Chubby babies are the best lol!

People tell me that all the time. He's just a healthy boy! My some just turned 2 months and weighs 14.5 pounds and is 25 1/2 inches long! He was born 9.3. You just made a healthy baby!

My son is 2 months and weighs 14lbs 12oz and 24.5 inches. Doctor always ask what we feed him and tell him the proper amount!

My son was 13 lbs 9 oz at his 2 month appointment and he's actually on the lean side, he's just super long. Everyone keeps saying he'll end up super tall, but a friend said her kids were super long as babies and now as kids they're more in the average to petit range. On the other hand I have a coworker whose 3 year old just literally looks like a kindergartener, so you never know.

But, yeah, a high weight definitely doesn't have to mean chubby. I'm sure your baby is fine.

Chunky babies are happy babies. 😂 Do t let it get to you. You will soon learn to take comments with a grain of salt.

With my first, she was born at 8.8 then she became a small baby and stayed small. I got tons of comments, including from my mom, about her weight.

My second was born big, 9lbs, and has stayed big. At his two month appointment this week he weighed 13 lbs 13 oz. He is an EBF baby just like his sister. Every baby is different. If you Pedi is happy and not concerned, let it go. 😊

I think he's just fine. I was comcerned about my son too. He's 2 months and 15 pounds and 25 inches long. His 6 month clothes barely fit him. I talked to his pediatrician about it yesterday and he didn't seem concerned at all. Just said he's gonna be a big dude.
