No it's a great idea. When I ordered food late at night I used to have them call my phone when they pulled up so they wouldn't knock on the door.

I personally feel like this is actually a nice way of saying no trespassers! Your family and friends will already know about this sign so they will know to call before they come.

I don't think it's ride at all. I always have people knocking on my door. And my MIL comes knocking like the Damn police. If I had this sign I would definitely hang it up proudly.

I personally think it's GREAT!!!
My homebirth midwife advised me to put a note on our front door to stop unwanted visitors from just turning up without calling first. The note just said "Mum and baby are resting at present. Please don't knock".
It was such a great idea and really helped in those early days when we wanted to be left alone. Our nearest and dearest all called before coming and came to the back door and let themselves in 😉
I will definitely make a funny sign like the photo for when our next baby comes along 😂
