cooking experts, HELP!!!
Ok so I made a red wine stew and I followed the same recipe I followed when I made this last year. Except I totally missed that it says to cook it in a Dutch oven and not the crock pot. The recipe gives me a cook time of 3 hours when done in the Dutch oven. Which means Right now dinner will be ready at 7, and I can't have it be on later since company is coming over they have kids. I don't have a Dutch oven pot and I'm wondering if it's going to cook in the same amount of time if I cook it in the crock pot on high?
(I did brown the chuck roast before putting it in the stew)
