Do you take sleeping pills?

I know that I shouldn't, I just used to always wake up in the middle of the night. So, it gives me peace of mind that I will get a good night's sleep.

If i dont take sleeping pills then i cant sleep. I might sleep for an hour or two but thats it.

I have a sleeping disorder so I have to take them. I have to change which ones I take every few months because I eventually become immune to everything. But I just take over the counter medicine, I'm not a fan of like Ambien or anything like that.

I don't take sleeping pills but I used to take melatonin supplements an hour before bed.

I use to take Ambien and Trazadone for sleep in my early 20s. Then I started blacking out and having memory loss.

I used to have horrible insomnia. From about 5th grade onwards. I would literally go a week with no more than 4-6 hours sleep TOTAL not per night. I tried a couple different sleeping pills and both of them made it worse. So I just dealt with it for years. Melatonin helped about 30% of the time (and I had to take double or triple the recommended dose). Drinking coffee helped (caffeine makes me tired). But finally a couple years ago, I was put on an antipsychotic medication for my mental illness and this med doubles as a strong tranquilizer. I can sleep! Every night. It's fabulous. If I miss a dose though I go right back to the insomnia.

yes i take the equivalent of benadryl every night or i dont sleep. It sucks. Best thing about getting pregnant is being able to sleep! I recently had to up my dose, i went 2 weeks barely getting 3-4 hours a night and was a total zombie in the mornings. It started 10+ years ago and hasnt gone away. I dont want to take prescription strength meds because i worry i wont be able to wake up if needed, if a child gets sick or something. I keep meaning to try melatonin.

I took sleeping pills every night for 5+ years before i got pregnant. Havent since i found out im pregnant and have slept just fine. I think it was an anxiety/ all in my head thing thinking i had to take them or i couldnt sleep.

I've been an insomniac for years. Now that I'm pregnant I can't take anything, but I hardly sleep at all. It's pretty miserable.

I take unisom every night.

Not during pregnancy, but I occasionally take melatonin supplements if I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping, or a muscle relaxer. But not often at all.
