Over belly or under belly maternity bottoms?

Question

For ladies who are pregnant or have been pregnant, what kind of maternity bottoms do you prefer?

Answer

I've been over weight my whole life, ranging from chubby to obese, currently at a good weight though. I also went to school for fashion design and always made it a point to dress well regardless of my size. But my inner fat kid JUST can't shake the feeling that wearing pants under the belly (or dreaded gunt) with belly exposed just feels horribly sloppy on me.
But I've obviously got issues on the matter after years of systematic psychological and physical abuse so I just keep my belly covered.
And before any jumps up my ass about fat shaming or whatever, I see these issues when I look in the mirror. I don't give a thought to others way of dress.

I've always like over belly bc it's more comfortable.  The fabric stretches to accommodate your growing belly, which is a plus
