Re- establish breast milk...pleaseeee help!!!

Piri
Okay, so I breastfeed for about a week when my daughter was born. I excusively pumped for about a month after that. Then I started giving her formula because my milk wasn't agreeing with her stomach because of my diet and I also wasn't producing enough. She's 4 month now and I want to start back giving her breast milk. I'm not even going to try to get her to latch on because I've always had a hard time with that but I want to go back to excusively pumping but I don't think I have any milk. Can someone give me some advice on how to produce breast milk again? I'm going to start back pumping and stuff to help get my milk back but is there anything I can take to produce it again?

Go to kellymom and LLLI websites and search relactation, you will get all the info you need. And still try latching with lots of skin to skin, you never know it may be better not that LO is older, doesn't hurt to try. And maybe try a nipple shield.

Now that's she's bigger maybe she'll latch easier, maybe give it s try since if she dies latch that will help tremendously with milk production

Make sure to pump every time you have a couple mins You could take fenugreek it seems to work for many people Just keep at it don't give up might take a while for the milk to come back but keep stimulating the breast because it will realize you need the milk and it will start to produce again. Also drink lots of water and eat healthy diet lots of fruits and veggies Good luck :)

Lactation consultant would be great. Also I know the WIC agency in my county will help with that. So try calling them :-)
