Natural cold sore remedies?? 😭

I have the biggest, ugliest cold sore right now and I'm planning on going out tonight and would like for it to even just become smaller.

I've tried pure vanilla extract, witch hazel and currently I have toothpaste on it. Any other suggestions?

What I do is pop it with a disinfected needle and immediately put alcohol on it. This opens the wound and kills it. You have to be very careful because if you don't do it correctly and immediately apply the alcohol the cold sore will spread.

I know it won't help tonight but if your doc will send in a script for antiviral it should only be about $14 for 60 pills depending where you live. This usually gets me through three outbreaks.

Possibly lower stress levels to assist with the healing process.  Is there anyway you can have your PCP prescribe you medication?
