playdates app?

Question

I may be building an app to help parents find play dates for their children, with other local children with similar interests.

How do you usually help your kids to set up play dates, or meet new friends..? Would you find an app useful - if so, what should be included, if not - why not?

Good idea
Normally I meet other parents at school or friends I made at work or high school. Sometimes at the park. 
But I do find arranging playdays with strangers more difficult. 
I've moved a few times more than I'd like and my son does need to make and see some friends outside of school. 
An app is a good idea I'd also include things like clubs: football, dancing, scouts/beavers, guides/brownies gymnastics and other child friendly activities in the area. 
Toddler groups baby yoga 
Even daytime activities for stay at home mums like Zumba for example

I'd be very interested in something like this and I hope you do well
