Thanks for all the support and sharing your thoughts and journeys with me. This was our 4th loss, I had had 2 natural and 1 D&C prior. When I had finally made my decision which was medicine my body made a different choice. I appreciate you all and wish you all the best.

I had a natural miscarriage and a D&C. I should have been 11 eeeks when the pain and bleeding began. The ultrasound showed the baby with no heartbeat and measuring 8 weeks. My body had already started the process so it wasn't as if I had much of a choice. I labored for a little over 10 hours with no meds before my little Joy was born. Sadly the placenta never came and 2 days later I had to have a D&C. I am thankful I got to see my baby and my husband and I got to say our goodbyes even though I was in the worst pain of my life both physically and emotionally. I am also thankful for the D&C though. Without it I would never have known I had a partial molar pregnancy. There is no one that can make this decision for you or tell you what will help you heal the most. Your about to meet your angel for the first time. Think about how you want to remember it because it is something you will never forget. I am so sorry for your loss. I know the pain and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. My heart and my prayers go out to you and your family. 💗HUGS💙

So sorry you're going through this. 
I miscarried at 5/6 weeks but didn't know till I went for my 12 wk scan. 
I had 2 d&c's,  one under ultra sound and they didn't manage to get it either time,  so 2 wasted anaesthetics. 
It took a long time for me to then naturally miscarry,  I suffered a massive hemorrhage whilst in work at what would have been 20 weeks,  didn't expect it and would much rather have had some control so wish I'd took the medicinal route in hindsight. 
Everyone's journey is different,  just hope you can start healing soon.

My baby stopped growing at 13 weeks. At 14 weeks I was induced and labored with her. After I delivered her, I had a d&c to make sure all tissue was out.

My baby's heartbeat stopped at 6w5d. I didn't find out til I was 11w2d. I had opted for a d&c the following week but luckily my body decided to naturally miscarry 3 days later. Even though the actual miscarrying process hurt like hell and was a total bitch, I'm happy I didn't need the d&c.

I had a blighted ovum miscarriage in July. There was no sign of a natural miscarriage in site since the placental tissue was still developing as with a normal pregnancy. My body could've taken up to 12 weeks to realize the pregnancy wasn't viable & begin the miscarriage process. The gestational sac stopped growing at 6+4 & no embryo developed. For this reason, I opted for the meds to induce the miscarriage. With no general anesthesia & no risk of scar tissue, it was a much better, less invasive fit for me.

I had a D&C on Monday.  For me, it was a decision based on my mental health.  I'd lost our baby at 7 weeks, and I should have been 10 weeks.

My cousin chose to wait for nature to take place. Which turned into an infection and hasn't been able to fall pregnant since ): is going through IVF.

I had a d&c. My baby passed at 8 weeks but I didn't know till 11. Since it had been 3 weeks and my body hadn't recognized it I didn't want to wait longer. I wanted to start moving on and new I couldn't do that personally while waiting for it to pass.

We had a stillbirth at 23 weeks. Our baby passed a good 2 weeks before we knew she was gone. It took about another week before we got induced and had her. There is a very real chance of the baby becoming toxic to mom, I didn't want to take that chance, especially bc my placenta was still working and didn't realize that she was gone. Lord knows how much longer I would have been pregnant for! So we did cytotec.
