Last Friday after about two weeks of thinking I was pregnant, I finally took TWO pregnancy tests which both confirmed I was pregnant. According to my last cycle, that meant I was 6 weeks pregnant the next day which was Saturday. 

I began experiencing an extremely light spotting on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. It was almost  unnoticeable until Monday morning it was a little bit more. So Monday afternoon when I was still spotting I called and left message with my doctors office. About an hour later nurse called me back and told me to come in on Tuesday for blood work and that I'd probably have to come in on Thursday for blood work as well. But she also said if you experience any heavier bleeding or pain to call back and let them know. Tuesday after getting to work around 8:30 I started bleeding quite a bit more heavy (comparable to a period) I had to make four stops to the restroom within an hour just to make sure I didn't leak through. (I only had a liner on at the time) Of course at this time I assumed that I was for sure having a miscarriage. We left at 9:30 to go to get my blood work done. As soon as I got in the car at 9:30 I called and explained my situation—asking if I needed to still get blood work done or if I needed to see the doctor.  The phone conversation was 30 minutes long at least 90% of which was me waiting to talk to someone—anyone—who would help me. The nurse told me that I would have to get an ultrasound with my blood work to really know what was going on so she called down and was able to get me an ultrasound right away. The ultrasound showed no baby 😢 but the technician couldn't really tell me anything because my doctor would have to give me my results. She said that even though the ultrasound showed nothing, it didn't mean I was or wasn't pregnant. (Thanks for false hope!) I got my blood work and went back to my doctors office and waited about 30 minutes  before they told me that they would look at the results and then give me a call back with my results. Late Wednesday afternoon I still had not received a call with my results yet. Keep in mind the entire time I'm assuming I had a miscarriage so all I need to know is if I have a miscarriage or not. Wednesday afternoon I called and left a message for The nurse or doctor asking her if I need to come in to get blood work again or if I need to see somebody or what needed to be done. She called me back within an hour letting me know that I did need to go get blood work done on Thursday and that The doctor really hadn't even looked at my results yet and that she would need to compare Tuesday's blood work with Thursday's blood work. Again I asked if I needed to meet with the Dr. and she said she would call me back and let me know. She still has not called back with an answer. On Thursday morning, I went and had a second set of bloodwork complete. And waited for a call back the rest of the day but never received one. All day Friday I waited for someone to call me with the results of my test, but didn't hear anything.

I finally stopped spotting Friday evening. The heavy-ish bleeding lasted about 4 hours on Tuesday morning and I'm pretty sure there were clots😢

So I never even talked to the doctor or even got to meet with a nurse. Is that normal or do I have a horrible doctors office? (The lab and ultrasound I had to go to a different office for) 

So not only am I sad about the miscarriage—I'm also extremely frustrated that no one will just verify that I actually had it! At this point, im ready to find another doctor and ready to move on! I will call them back on Monday to hopefully get some answers....
