What is enough?

How do I know if I have "enough" milk?

My baby was born 7lbs 11oz and at 4+ months is 17lbz 10oz so I definitely have had enough milk for the past 4 months. She is EBF and has never taken a bottle. I've always let her comfort nurse and I feed on demand.

I always see people say they don't have enough milk but my baby doesn't even switch sides during a feed.

Will I notice if I stop making enough?
I'm so confused.

If you don't have enough milk, she'll still act hungry and not be satisfied after feeding.

Count wets,dirty diapers. You might get a dip in supply with your period if you haven't got it back but not enough to notice. Sounds like you have a great supply:)

You definitely have enough milk! Some people experience a dip in their supply, usually more often if they're pumping. I had a dip in my supply after a clogged milk duct and I knew because baby was cluster feeding like crazy and usually my let down is fast where she'll have to pull away but it wasn't like that so I just let her tell me how often to feed, took some fenugreek and drank lots of water and within a day it was back up.
