What does "exclusively breastfed" mean?

Are babies that drink pumped breastmilk from a bottle considered "exclusively breastfed" or does that phrase only apply to babies who only ever drink straight from the breast?

I'd consider babies who are fed only pumped milk to be exclusively breastfed. The milk comes from the breast, and if they're not being supplemented with formula, they're exclusively breastfed.

I would think it would be by breast milk only it would be extremely hard for a woman who wasn't a stay at home mom to breastfeed directly from the breast. I would think as long as the milk is from the breast whether bottle or nipple, it would mean "exclusively breastfed". IMO.

Exclusively breast fed means having only breast milk. No formula or rice cereal. Doesn't matter if it is pumped or straight from the tap.
