Ok so I guess I'm one of the few that actually has it 😂😂 several things. Insertion was pretty damn painful for me, and afterwards I had the most painful cramps I've ever had for most of the day. Curled up in a ball with a heating pad all day 😁 background info though- periods have always been VERY regular, light and usually 4-5 days max with or without bc pills. Hormones seemed to make me more irritable, no sex drive and gain weight. So that being said, since I got the paraguard, sex drive seems to have sky rocketed. I'm less irritable, and my periods are still regular. I also lost easily 15 pounds. Periods have gotten longer, by 2-3 days if that and tend to be a bit heavier. I have cramping that is enough to make me want to take pain meds now.  I tend to get very mild yeast infections right after period that clear up quickly with no meds- only slight odor, no itch. I've given the pros and cons but overal I definitely like it. I definitely recommend it only for girls that are regular without hormonal help. Unless you don't mind irregular! The pros and cons are going to be different for every girl, but this at least gives you an idea of what it's done for me!

I had it but it made my periods never ending (literally bled for 32 days straight), and I ended up getting it removed. I loved not thinking about it, at all, but the periods definitely were heavier and, for me, it just wasn't the right choice. But, the plus sides were: never thought about it, after first 48 hours I never felt it, and the SO didn't feel it either.
