Filing taxes

I have a question about filing. Im 17 years old and got pregnant oct 2013 so I moved in with my SO in February of 2014 and had our son aug 2014. I havent lived with my mom at all last year and on my own now. I have a job and finished high school dec last year. Can I claim my son if my mom doesnt claim me since I'm on my own now? Or I cant because im still pretty much a dependant under my mom?
