Hello my fellow mommas.

My baby is 7 weeks old and has a milk allergy so he has to be on a special kind of formula. I breastfeed about 85% of the time and we use formula for when my hubby has him at night or if we are out and about around town. Well we usually give him Nutramigen which is made by Enfamil but we happened to have 5 cans of Alimentum (made by Similac) that was given to us by the local pregnancy center.

We started giving him Alimentum on Thursday and it is now Saturday night and he's only had one bowel movement. This is unusual because he poops about 3 times a day. I can tell he's hurting because he's so grumpy. He just cries and cries and kicks so hard and arches his back. I've given him breast milk all day today and still no BM.

Ive tried little baby exercises with his legs and warm packs on his tummy. Is there anything you guys can recommend? Is there something I can give him? Should I switch him back to Nutramigen or will his little body adjust to this formula?
