Will using an exercise ball induce labour?

Please don't be mean! I bought a birthing ball last week ( I'm 30 week ) to help with back ache and pelvic pressure.

My friend told me not to use it yet incase it induces labour , I'm not sure how true this is?

It will not induce labor I've been using mine my whole pregnacy to help relieve pressure on my back and hips but just sitting on it and rolling my hips when ur at the point and ur body is ready yes sitting on it and bouncing can help lower the baby and ready your body but your body won't do anything it's not ready to 😑 I'm almost 39w and this baby still isn't out and I'm on that ball everyday lol look up on pintrest yoga ball exercises for pregnant women

I don't know how you plan to use it.
But they brought me one while I was in labor to bounce on to see if it could dilate me and progress labor. I bounced on it and swiveled my hips back and forth and side to side. But the was to labor.
