anybody else have horrible pelvic pain?

It feels like I have a bowling ball in my vajayjay! I'm only 17 weeks and this has been going on since I was 12 weeks. I asked my doctor about it and like most things he blew it off. Baby is very low. To the point the ultrasound tech couldn't measure the baby's head. I bought a maternity belt and that helps some. It just feels like it's too early for this? I can't walk further than from the car to the house. It's painful to even sit. Anybody else have this? Have suggestions to get some relief?

I am 19 weeks and I have recently been going through the same thing. My pelvic area feel heavy and uncomfortable, I feel like I get small cramps in that area as well that sometime shoots up to my back. These pains have been very slight but worrisome because it's has been on and off but consistent. I went to the hospital 2 days ago everything was fine, no contractions, sonogram was done and everything was fine just the baby head is down but they said that's normal but will cause pressure. Only suggestion they had for me was that it was round ligament pain (google) and to drink more water (liters!) and take tylenol for the pain. I was looking at the belts and I thought the same (isn't it to early for this?!) but I'm waddling girl so let's see if that helps. Hope this helps...Good luck!

Yes I feel this too! Some days I feel like I can't function and have to prop my feet up and lay the chair back so it takes pressure of my pelvic. Are you having a boy? I am, and I know it's a wifetale but they say boys are carried lower. Right now I believe it!

I have started feeling mine around 14 weeks, and I'm 21 weeks and my baby is low still. She does come up sometimes but she likes to hide and sit low. Some mornings when I listen to her heart beat through the Doppler I have to go all the way down to my pelvic area as if I was only 6 weeks. She comes up once in a during the day but then go back down very low and just stays there .

It's been the same for me! I'm 19w3d. My baby girl is sooo low. At my last appt, doc was looking for heartbeat by my belly button but she was still found under underwear line. My little girl has been applying so much pressure. We haven't had an ultrasound since 12 weeks and impatiently awaiting our anatomy scan at 21 weeks :(

Yes! I had searing pains in that area from about 5-6 weeks (very often) and still have them occasionally (especially when my bladder is full) and had a TERRIBLE time trying to find similar stuff online. But my OB said it was due to my growing uterus, and that when the baby is that low, the uterus puts a lot of pressure on all the muscles and ligaments down there and that as your baby/uterus move up your abdomen, the pain lessens (which has been true for me) so maybe it's just the same thing!

I have what's called pelvic instability so see a physio to get some ideas to help manage and reduce the pain. I'd be careful using a belly belt too often too early though. Even though I had pelvic instability with my first 2 years ago, the pain never went away and the pain is as bad now as it was at the end with my first, the physio said she wouldn't give me a belly band just yet. She said the bands can make your muscles lazy and actually make the problem worse in the long term. The exercises help (when I remember to do them) and simple changes like sitting on a fitball instead of the couch also help.
