Gripe water? Yes or no? If no then why?

I think the thing with gripe water is all of the brands are different. The ingredients are different, some have to be refrigerated after opening, some not, different flavors, etc. We use Mommy's Bliss and have had nothing but a positive experience, never any issues. She even tries to full the little syringe thing to her mouth. I like this brand because it's basically just ginger and fennel extracts. If she still seems uncomfortable or gassy we'll give her the Mylicon gas drops, but we rarely need to.

I tried to use it when DD was younger like about 1-2 months old. She's choke on it horribly. (She likes to hold liquids in the back of her throat) so to stopped. Now that she's 4 months I give it to her and she sucks it down on her own.

All I do is give her enough to taste it. She smacks her lips and gets extremely placated just like she would in the NICU when they dropped sugar water on her tongue to soothe. Even if she had been absolutely shrieking she would go silent immediately, it was kind of crazy to see. Gripe water isn't that good but it helps along those same lines. My daughter does this thing where she acts like she's starving even when's she's literally full to capacity. This makes her calm long enough for her satiety to kick in. I find it really helpful for this!

Supposed to but for some reason a bunch of babies and kids throw up after taking it.... I used the mylicon for the first time today, and it's amazing! She's been so much better!

I tried it and my daughter threw it up plus her milk.  Just my experience so I won't be using it again.
