Please help

Hi I'm a new mommy my baby girl is 3months old and at the beginning of the week I noticed that her finger looked swollen around the cuticle area so yesterday I took her to the doctors because her nail now looks like it could be infected but the doctors said everything is fine I just don't feel like it is fine but she also isn't showing signs that it is bothering her I'm just so nervous that her nail may come off has this happen to anyone before and if so what did you have to do
