I have a 16wk 2 day old baby who was sleeping through the night since she was 8 weeks or so. Well for the past month (it started towards the end of december) she has been waking up literally every 1-2 hours wanting to eat. The longest she will go without waking up now is 2.5-3 hours. I dont see how she can be hungry?? but no matter what i try to do at night to get her back to sleep she will cry until i nurse her and then goes right back to sleep! Should I just let her cry or what? From what I understand, at this age they don't really need night feedings except maybe 1 or 2. I mean she eats every two hours during the day, and she used to go 6-7 hour stretchs at night. I thought it was a growth spurt or possibly sleep regression but its been going on for a month now. She will be 4 months old on the 30th. Anyone experience something similar or know why this has been happening?
