Cramp after af ended, ttc 2 yrs

I had my period, or so I'm assuming, arrive early, and it ended a couple days ago. Moderate flow, nothing heavy. Now, I'm experiencing pretty intense cramps, which aren't even a symptom for me when af is coming or here. Not sure what's up... any advice? Justin random? Was my "period" really just IB? Should I take a test? BD six times around ovulation. Ttc for two years.
