No IUD strings??

Question

I have had my IUD for over a year now, and for the first time i cant feel my strings? Should i be concerned? No problem with feeling them until this month,

Sometimes they curl up if your worried pleeeeaasseee go and see your doc it's better to be safe then sorry

I was in the same exact position! My boyfriend and I had sex and I went to check for my strings and I couldn't feel them. I went to the doc and she said they're there. They tend to soften and coil around your cervix sometimes. Or you could be like me and your strings still be there but they could have just gotten soft and be at the entrance.

I think that it's ok if you can't feel the strings for a while, they could have softened like they say they eventually will and/or curled around your cervix. But to be safe and put your mind at ease you should go to your OB/GYN if you really  feel like something really is off. Trust your instincts because no one knows your body like you do!
