Breastfeeding
My son is only two days old and already I'm struggling to breastfeed. My nipples are inverted, so sore and tender. Every time he sucks it's so painful. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to sit in a certain position or what I am doing wrong. One of the nurses came in to help, but what she was doing didn't feel quite right. She kept squeezing my nipple and pressing baby head down. I gave him a bottle an hour ago & now feeling bad. Is this much pain normal? It feels like razor blades cutting into me when he latches, which is then followed by pain with every suckle. I don't want to get discouraged doing this. I really need help on what I SHOULD be doing. Any advice??
