exclusively pumping mommas?!

Exclusively pumping mamas, how are you handling nights?? Can you please share your routine with me? (Ex pumping every 3 hours during the day and night, etc?) I'm new to this and would really appreciate some insight of how and when to getup at night!!!! Thank you!!!

Honestly at night my body wakes me if I need to pump...I don't get up at any certain time intervals.  My LO is 12 weeks and sleeps thru the night so I sleep as much as I can.  I had 1 night I slept all night but woke up in a pile of wet clothes from leaking but I obviously was tired and needed the sleep.  During the day I normally pump every 4 hours and I've built enough of a supply that missing a night pumping isn't a huge deal, it's just about staying comfortable but not pumping too often that my body over produces.  Good luck!

In the beginning I would pump at every feeding. Since it was so little in the beginning, he didn't wait that long for me to finish pumping. I also supplemented with formula since I wasn't producing enough. Gradually my milk came in and I would pump at every feeding. I would pump before he woke up so he'll have a fresh bottle. Now I over produce so I give him half and save the other half for the next feeding. I now pump after every other feeding. I went from 2oz to now 7oz per pump session. My son is 6 weeks old.

My LO is three weeks so she usually wakes up at night.  I will pump when she wakes at night and then every three hours during the day.
