I'm a first time mom and I am so clueless about car seats. I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade and recently purchased the Graco Fit4Me 65 convertible car seat. My vehicle doesn't have the hooks in the center of the backseat to place the car seat there and when it's on the passenger side, it is so big that it has to be touching the front seat while rear facing. I was told there is supposed to be space left between the car seat and the front seat. If I left enough space, there wouldn't be any room for a passenger in the front. Any advice on what to do?
