Does this seem safe? I'm getting a bedside bassinet but I thought about putting something like this inside of it while my baby is a newborn and until they grow out of it. It seems similar to the doc a tot but it's way cheaper.

No way. Far too squishy. Baby gets his face against that they can suffocate. You don't need to put anything extra in the bassinet

There's no reason to put anything extra in baby's bassinet. My little one manages to wiggle her way up into the corner with her face squished into it almost every night. We have the halo bassinet so the sides are all mesh, it's not a concern, but if anything like that were in there as well it would be a problem.

You don't need anything extra. I wouldn't waste the money.
