Kaiser Breast Pump

Hi ladies. So now sure if anyone has Kaiser Permanente as health insurance but I called today to see when I can receive my breast pump and they said 6 weeks postpartum! Wth!? How does that even make sense? Has anyone else ran into this issue with their insurance company and were you able to get one sooner? Sounds like a man made this requirement because no sane woman would do this. They promote breastfeeding but make it hard for mothers. Smh
