baby still below hips at 18 weeks?

Question

I was told at a 16 week scan and again today at an 18 week scan that my placenta is very low (placenta previa). But also the baby is always below my hips. When I feel him move it's always just a couple of inches above my pubic bone, way below my hips. Anyone else's little one still that low?? Not sure if I should be worried about this.

My mom carried all of us low. Two of the three of us came early. I came 9wks early and my oldest brother came 4 wks early.

With my first pregnancy most of the movement I felt was low the entire time. He moved up sometimes but I guess he was more comfortable being low. I literally felt his foot kick my cervix a few times lol

Most all movement I feel is quite low, I'm 21 weeks yesterday. Hopefully lil peanut has just found a xomdrtable spot down there and doesn't want to move quite yet. Done enough they'll be so big that we will feel it everywhere!

I'm carrying super low as well, but I haven't been told where my placenta is yet. I wouldn't be too worried, some people just carry low. I'm 5'10" so that definitely contributes, are you tall? That might be part of it.

Sounds like me as well. I was told I have placenta previa at my 12 week scan. And baby is always at or below my hip bones. I haven't had any complications so far just carrying low I guess. Now at 18-4 hoping baby will move up and placenta will move.
