the lying never stops

I think my boyfriend might be a pathological liar. He lies about everything, even the smallest, stupidest things like "what did you eat for breakfast". How hard is it to tell the truth? I'm so frustrated I just want to flip out on him and I know if I do I will say stuff and regret it.  Any advice for me to calm down?
