Best form of birth control?

Anyone know any good birth control methods that has no nasty effects. Iv been on a few that were terrible. Can anyone recommend a good form of birth control. Also does anyone know what the patch is like for birth control with regards to the side effects it has?

I have been on the patch for a year I love it. It hsa been GREAT for my skin. It shortens my periods and keeps my flow on a normal schedule so my hormones are more regular and I stag more emotionally balanced I am so happy I'm on the patch! ? I recommend it.

Every body works different so I can39t tell you anything about hormonal, only your doctor. As a sexual health promoter I always recommend condoms.

Thanks, do you have to have had a baby to get mirena? Just on reading about it and some doctors are reclutant to insert it unless you've had a baby. I'm not really sure how to control my fertailty naturally , how do you control it?

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I am going to suggest you look into natural family planning. Never thought it would be the road I'd end up taking, but after trying LOTS of bc methods, NFP is what works for my family. And I do mean works...it's very effective when done correctly.

Try mirena it's a barrier so you don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday and it doesn't have any hormones so you don't have to worry about acne or gaining weight.

Hi, thanks, iv been on a few but hated them, my skin always flares up with them and with my mums heart condition and my testing I'm not allowed on hardly any, but heard good reviews about the patch. Thanks xx

I tried for a year to find a birth control I coul take. Four different pills even the nuva ring. I ended up having to change doctors and after telling him all the problems he told me my body couldn't handle the synthetic estrogen. I was then put on a "mini pill" birth control. Have had zero side effects. Even kept a regular period! I took it for three solid months before relying on it as my only form of birth control. I take it same time every day and have been baby free for five sold months with no scares! Hope you find some thing that works for you! There are lots of options out there.
