Does anybody know how bad this will hurt? I've never gotten a tattoo but I want one of these so bad

I'd definitely start with something smaller first if I were you to see how you handle the pain and for me my ribs weren't that bad until it got closer to the boob.

It's addictive!! I LOVED the sensation and adrenaline rush! The shading on my upper thigh actually hurt more than the tattoos on my ribs

I have a large under boob tattoo just like that and after 4 hours I had to tap out. I have MANY tattoos and this was BY FAR the worst pain. Deep breathes were nearly impossible to take let alone did it even help! Worth it: yes! I went back for a second session and it was just as bad lmao! Mine goes up my sternum more and that was intense to say the least! But beauty is pain lol so take it session by session and you will get the piece you want! Eat a good full meal before going in and maybe bring a pop with you for the sugar! I had to get up mid session for a meal as my vision was going in and out and I didn't want to pass out. Once the adrenaline is gone though you just tap out and come back another day 😋 good luck sweets! You'll love it and the pain will all be worth it!!!! As a person with tattoos: they do not feel good! If someone tells you that tattoos don't hurt they are either lying or have super human pain tolerance.

Would not recommend getting a ribcage tattoo first. I got my foot done first and it was legit a nightmare.

That being said: tattoos are so much fun and an awesome way to express yourself. Go for it if you want one but I'd say think about it long and hard, it's a commitment regardless.

It all depends on your personal pain tolerance. The one on my ribs hurt more then the rest of my tattoos. It seemed to hurt more when it got around the more fatty areas like my boobs and near the stomach than the actual bone area.

I actually have a somewhat smaller tattoo (than pictured) mostly on the sternum part (middle) under my boobs. If you've never gotten a tattoo before, then I wouldn't start with this. Tattoos don't hurt me really, but I could see how others would find them extremely painful. The only thing that "bothered" me was that I could feel the vibrations through my bones when he shaded directly on the sternum bone.

I have 3 tattoos and all three are on pretty painful places! I got one on my ribs and it really didn't hurt that much. The other was on my spine and I barely felt it at all. It was mostly just pressure and buzzing from the tool! If you get an artist that is light handed, it will not sting as much. One thing to compare it to is a cat scratching you for however long the artist is tattooing...but I don't even think getting a tattoo hurts like that would!!! Lol! Good luck with your tats    girl!!
